Texas Family Has 14 Rescued Dogs So They Didn’t Abandon Them And Stayed To Face The Hurricane
In Galveston, Texas, Lisa First and her husband Jesse Cadena now have 14 rescued dogs, and there are frequently foster pets as well. Tennis ball games and swimming in the pond may be enjoyed in regular periods. They typically swim because they want to, not because they have no other option, but Hurricane Harvey’s floods essentially forced them to “swim” in their flooded house.
“They are all stray dogs from Houston, and each of them has a unique tale to tell. Every day is filled with joy for us.
Lisa claims that her street was entirely under water at 2 a.m. on Sunday. In the home, the water level also increased.
Lisa stated
“We all slept together on the bed and sofas; the only areas that were dry were our mattresses and tables.”
The family was confined for almost three days, occupied with protecting their pets and attempting to save their most priceless personal belongings.
This required activities like kayaking in her flooded yard while holding on to dogs.
