A Pregnant Woman Adopts A Little Kitten, And The Two Have Become Best Friends

Jordan Jeffcote was six months pregnant when she came upon an adoption event while out shopping for Jinx’s food. She came to meet the kittens and fell in love with a small 3-month-old black kitten who was the last of his litter — but no one appeared interested in him since he was black. Despite the fact that she was expecting another child, Jeffcote believed there was place for another and welcomed Little into her household.

Jeffcote brought Little home, and he had no clue how big of an influence he would have on her family at the time. Little and Jinx were good friends, and Little met his best pal when Jude was born.

“The cats instantly sniffed Jude’s car seat when we brought him home from the hospital,” Jeffcote told The Dodo. “Jinx strolled away for her midday sleep after smelling his foot. Little burst into a bushel of purrs and then went asleep next to the car seat, where he remained even after we removed Jude.”

Little and Jude were the best of friends from that point forward. Both had recently joined the family and still had a lot of maturing to do, but they looked to be a fantastic combination.

Jude is now ten months old, and he and Little are completely devoted to one other. Little despises being separated from Jude for even a second, and he is the most patient cat on the planet with his younger brother.

“They go for walks together, watch TV together, play fetch together,” Jeffcote added. “Little isn’t far behind Jude, wherever he is.” During naps and at night, he sleeps outside his room, waiting for him to play.”

Little is very protective of Jude and is constantly close him when he begins to cry, seeking to assist him. He’s a big softie who is always willing to give love and hugs to everyone who asks, but Jude always comes first.

“When Jude screams,” Jeffcote said, “Little will roll over in front of him and purr.” “As though he’s aware of his anxiety.” When I’m stressed, he does the same thing to me. He is protective of me and Jude, and if my husband approaches us, he will swat him (playfully). But he’s so nice that when my husband says ‘Ow,’ he just meows a small apologies at him.”
