Dog’s Reaction To Being Reunited With His Human Father Who Lost 50 Pounds, Couldn’t Believe It Was Him

When Willie was barely a puppy, Shane Godfrey discovered him absolutely abandoned. Since since, the two have been inseparable. Shane was admitted to the hospital at the end of February of this year, and Willie believed he had lost his human father for good. This dog’s reunion with his adoptive father was captured on camera, posted to Facebook, and caused a great deal of heartfelt emotion among many people.

Shane was admitted to the hospital as a result of the flu, which ultimately developed into double pneumonia, renal failure, sepsis, and encephalitis. The man might not recover, doctors worried.

Shane spent five weeks in the hospital, and although his condition happily got better, his weight plummeted. Willie was cared after by the man’s sister throughout this entire period.

Willie was unable to identify Shane when he was released, but as he drew nearer, he recognized it was him and couldn’t control his happiness at being at his side.
