Aphrodite Was Chained Since She Was 10 Months Old, But Now She Is Rescued And Has Not Stopped Giving Love To All The People Around Her

This dog has obviously had a difficult existence because she has been chained since she was a puppy, but it hasn’t prevented her from being so loving and compassionate to those around her. She had a severe cut on her neck, was covered in sores and fleas, and was in the yard of her adoptive family’s home. Due to her failing condition, she was transferred to a high-kill shelter in Texas.

Long Island, New York-based A-Team Elite Rescue Dogs creator Cindy Droogmans said:

“Her flesh was being pinched by the collar. She was frequently outside.”

She had never experienced what it was like to be loved, yet she was perfectly capable of loving everyone, even those who were strangers. She attempted to lift her paws to touch humans as they approached her in her refuge.

She has been given the name “Aphrodite” and, fortunately, Cindy was able to obtain her the veterinary attention she need to begin her rehabilitation.

Aphrodite is presently receiving medical care and therapeutic baths; when she has recovered completely, she will be flown to New York to find a permanent residence.
