Friendly Pitbull Was Abandoned At The Shelter Because The Family Had A Fifth Baby

The ideal dog is Stormy, a pit bull that is two years old. He is amiable and gets along well with everyone—children, dogs, and even cats. He is loving, fun, and caring. However, when his previous family welcomed a fifth child, they felt he was no longer a part of them and left him in a shelter where he may have been put to death.

Alana Guerrini, a volunteer with Eleventh Hour Rescue, stated to The Dodo:

“He lived with a family of four kids, two other dogs (one tiny and one huge), and a cat throughout his whole life. After becoming pregnant and giving birth to her fifth child, the lady thought there were too many children.”

Stormy, formerly known as Freshy, wound up at a Brooklyn high-kill shelter.

Says Alana

“In that photograph [at the shelter], you could sense the horror and despair in his eyes, as well as how devastated he was. When I saw that face, he utterly devastated me.

Thankfully, Alana noticed his profile and hurried to help him leave the shelter. Little time remained for Stormy to live.

Says Alana

We received the word that “we’re going to let you have him, and he’s officially yours and he’s coming off death row” about 4:58 or 4:59 instead of the scheduled time of 5 o’clock.

Stormy was therefore taken home to New Jersey by Alana and her 16-year-old son, where he will receive foster care until he finds a forever home.

She uttered:

He easily climbed into my car. With every small wiggle and kiss on the face, you could tell that Stormy was thanking my son for helping save his life since he knew he was going to survive. My son had gone into the passenger seat, and Stormy had hopped into my son’s lap. Being an angel, he

Pitbull was left at the shelter after the family welcomed their sixth child.

Alan also said

“My son spent an hour and a half at home on his lap because I wanted to be on his lap all the time. As a result, he had to sit in the rear seat. Only when he repeatedly tried to kiss me too did he withdraw.”

Although Alana could tell Stormy had lived with a family in the past, she was taken aback by how kind she was to her son.
