Before And After Photos Of A Dog That Was Returned To The Shelter 4 Times

Blossom surprised everyone with her gorgeous grin when Sophie Gamand took her first snapshot of her in 2014. Sadly, the pup looks very different in a fresh picture shoot six years later since she has already made four trips back to the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter.

The pit bull puppies featured in the Gamand’s Pit Bull Flower Power photographs are homeless, and lovely flowers have been added to showcase their attractiveness.

Gamand had originally intended for Blossom’s photographs to have a more somber tone, but the dog’s stunning face, which was beaming with excitement and revealed her incredible resilience to life’s hardships, prevented this.

Gamand said to The Dodo:

“I didn’t expect the collection of pictures to be a joyful celebration. However, other dogs, such as Blossom, had different ideas. I knew it had to be his image when I saw his wide smile on my computer.

The pit bull was starting her fifth stint at the shelter when Blossom and Gamand reconnected this year, and she now has a totally different appearance.

In 2013, Blossom was initially discovered stumbling through a Long Island mall; a few months later, she was adopted. She was afterwards sent back to the shelter with the excuse that the home dog did not mate with her companionship.

She was re-adopted in 2015 by a new family when they moved to Germany and left her behind. Blossom endured two more abandonments after that and grew up without ever having the chance to find genuine love in a permanent family until now.

Gamand expressed his amazement at the difference he noticed in Blossom by saying the following:

Blossom’s eyes were no longer sparkling. She wasn’t the energetic and content dog I remembered from that year. Although she is a little broken, she is still incredibly loving. Her spirit may be waning, I fear.

Blossom’s fresh images are being released in the hopes that they may catch the attention of a new family who would welcome her into their house permanently.

Cushing’s disease, which affects the pituitary or adrenal glands but may be managed with medicine, was just recently identified as the dog’s condition.

She deserves a lot of affection, a secure place to sleep, and never to experience loneliness once more. Blossom is a cute small puppy that is very outgoing and lively. Whoever adopts her will surely enjoy her companionship.
