Kitten Found Hiding Under A Car On A Hot Day Gets Back On Her Feet And Thrives As A Happy Lap Cat

A concerned resident from the San Fernando Valley, California, discovered a tiny cat behind a vehicle on an industrial site in early August.

The small cat was coated in filth, fleas, and ants, and looked to be sluggish. The temperature was close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day, which was unpleasant for the fragile, famished, and thirsty kitten.
After being rescued from the streets, a cat clings to her one and only kitten.
Alley Cat Rescue (in the Los Angeles region) sprang into action when the property’s owner sought out to the community for assistance.

“People rushed in to assist in picking up the kitten and removing her off the ground as quickly as possible. A volunteer offered to take her in as a foster child. It was quite hot that day, and the kitten would not have survived sitting in it for long “Love Meow was informed by Alley Cat Rescue.

The kitten struggled to latch onto a bottle for the first several days and required assistance to feed. They gave her a wash and got rid of all of the annoying fleas and ants.

The kitty woke up and found how how to suckle from her bottle with meticulous care and lots of affection. “Getting her back on a feeding schedule took a little bit,” the rescue told Love Meow.

“Throughout the night, we kept waking up and feeding her tiny amounts of food every two hours. She finally latched and drank from a bottle wonderfully one morning. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.”

Willow was the adorable kitten’s name, and she rapidly acclimated to life as an indoor cat. She soon discovered her purr and became quite loving in the company of others. She would nuzzle into her caregiver’s hands after each meal and take up the affection.

Willow’s hunger increased as she gained weight and muscle. Every baby stride she took or milestone she achieved brought a great grin to everyone’s face.

Willow has grown in size and fluff in just two weeks, and her personality is beginning to emerge. “She’s a lot of fun and really kind. She’s at the stage where she’s learning about everything in her environment and swatting it away with her paws.”

The once-stray kitten has grown into a full-fledged lap cat with a sweet purr motor. Willow will snuggle up in her human’s lap and wave her mittens in the air, attempting to catch whatever is in front of her.

She likes being the center of attention and has her foster carers completely wrapped around her little finger.
